Recorded live during 2011
We have never been completely happy with our studio recordings. They are recorded well and we are able to eliminate as many mistakes as possible. We are also able to add things, which we cannot do live. But they simply don’t sound quite how we do live. This, our seventh album, at long last captures the atmosphere of our live shows: from inspired improvisations to monumental cock-ups.
We recorded many gigs in late 2011 and some of the highlights are on this disk. It has given us the opportunity to capture material that works best with an audience so otherwise we probably would never have considered recording.
Several of the tracks were recorded at The Swan, Worlingworth and feature the sound of traditional East Anglian Step-Dancing. We are delighted to have been able to play for, and records, this fine tradition and thank everyone there for sharing some idyllic Sunday afternoons with us.
